Absolutely mind-blowing sandwich. I popped in after seeing the pig through the window and found a restaurant I’ll visit any time I’m in Edinburgh. The pork is clearly fresh, as they’re cutting the meat off of the freshly cooked pig right in front of you. Then they add crispy pork skin before serving. It’s unbelievable! Being from the South in America, my BBQ sauce standards are high and theirs was pretty good but not great. The meat speaks for itself, though. And, the space is pretty cramped, but they do a great job of moving customers in and out. Lastly, the staff could not have been nicer. I highly recommend this small, unique, and delicious spot!

It’s a great option to grab something to go. The place is very small so it’s rather a take away food. Their pork is delicious, and the sandwich itself tastes great. It’s also a nice combination with traditional haggis. I loved it!

If you find yourself wandering Victoria Street in Edinburgh and crave something hearty, make your way to Oink. This small but mighty eatery offers some of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve ever had. The meat was tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by unique toppings like sage stuffing and haggis. You can choose from a variety of sauces to top off your sandwich exactly how you like it. The service at Oink was top-notch, with friendly staff who offered tastings to ensure satisfaction before we made our selections. Although seating is limited, the cozy atmosphere adds to the charm of this local spot. We opted for the medium-sized sandwiches with crisps and a drink, which proved to be the perfect lunch combo. Highly recommended for a quick, delicious bite that embodies the spirit of Edinburgh’s vibrant culinary scene.

Really simple menu with roasted pulled pork. I tried the mini sandwich with sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce and added extra crackling. I thought this sandwich was delicious! We just finished a half marathon and the staff gave us a 10% discount on our order. There is a small amount of seating in the restaurant but it's primarily a take away location. Definitely worth a stop for a delicious sandwich.

The medium sizes brown bun, sage onion spread as well as mustard mayo was a great combo! The pork was tender and the bun was soft and the sandwich was delicious overall and great value for money! The only downside of this place is that it did not have a toilet, at least not in the public area - I can imagine they can provide you with access if you ask

This is a special dish and it tastes awesome. The little skin is crunchy but only a tiny piece. The sitting place is relatively small and mostly high chairs. It is worth to try at least once in the trip.

This is a small venue. Sorry, what I should say is...this is an incredibly popular and delicious small venue. The menu is slim, but what they do, they do blumin well. Perfectly cooked pork, perfectly flavoured stuffing, all shoved into a convenient bread roll.
